  • Heather knows and understands horses from a social, emotional, and physical standpoint. She sees in their bodies in fine detail the areas which need strengthening and the areas that need to be softened and let loose. As a Balance Through Movement Method instructor, Heather utilizes the Lazaris nerve technique in combination with others to rehabilitate horses bodies and nervous systems. She is also incredibly knowledgeable about equine feet and has the expertise and experience to assess the hoof and to implement a plan for developing hoof health as a means to overall soundness and wellness.

  • Health/Wellness – When Heather became a BTMM (Balance thru Movement Method) apprentice instructor she added a focus of health and development of the whole horse. Her understanding of the structure of the horse and hoof has been a game changer as she looks to ensure the horse is capable of doing what we are asking of it, helps rehab when needed (my guy needed it!!!), and incorporates it all in the horsemanship experience!!! She has helped with both my horse’s structural and emotional wellbeing to ensure we have many years ahead of us healthy and sound.
